                      H-BOMB!                                ..|/\|...............................................|/\|..                                   Germany - KUSTOM RECORDS - ASC 001

INCREDIBLY RARE early '70s obscure collectible German manufactured LP, all but extinct - haven't seen a spare copy for decades!

Previously unreleased document caught on vinyl of the legendary bands 1970 performance with newly recruited Ian Gillian vocals & Roger Glover bass.

Live 10.07.1970 Reiterstadion, Aachen, Germany
After the self titled 1969 Deep Purple LP was recorded, original singer Rod Evans and bassist Nick Simper left, to form "Warhorse" and "Captain Beyond" respectively. Evans & Simper were replaced by Ian Gillan and Roger Glover, creating what most consider to be the best version of Deep Purple....

Although the sound quality is what to expect from a early '70s low-budget limited edition, the album here has historical interest as it has the classic, newly formed MKII band performing some Rod Evans-era material as well as "Black Night", which would appear on Deep Purple in Rock. It also has a long-form jam on the Rolling Stones' "Paint It Black".

Long jamming performances are different versions from the known studio release

A:       Black Night
      Paint It Black
B:
     Wring That Neck ..

CONDITION: The cover: rated: near VG++ pretty nice for such a fragile European cover. There are visuals of light use, nothing to cause a non-collectiblity issue at all. There is previous handling around the edges...but no delete marks, no split seams, and no writing  ...

The vinyl: Rated: VG+(+) stray couple or so hairline scuffs, plays nearly the same as it did in the early '70s (((lo-fi))) ...  both Kustom Record labels have a few spindle marks, otherwise free from damages.
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
