Description

This 7" record contains radio spot ads and a lobby promo for the movie "Haunted Palace"
It is a promotional record that was sent to movie theaters to be used by radio stations to promote local showings of the movie, with a lobby promo or special intermission program on the other side
Movie promotional records were produced in very limited quantities and very few have survived
The double-sided record has been play-tested and is in excellent condition
There are six tracks on Side 1: three 60-second spots, two 30-second spots, and one 20-second spot Side 2 features a 4 minute 55 second promotional recording "for macabre listening"
Both sides are narrated by Vincent Price
"Haunted Palace" starred Vincent Price, Debra Paget and Lon Chaney Jr., directed by Roger Corman, and was 6th in the 10-film American International cycle of adaptations of works written by Edgar Allen Poe
