Description

Gorgeous original copy of the 1959 Harry Belafonte at Carnegie Hall double-LP on RCA Living Stereo LSO-6006. Rare early 70s orange label pressing, which many say is the best sounding pressing. Included on the TAS list of the greatest audio recordings ever released, and this copy really shows why. Both discs are in excellent, top condition. A very minor superficial scuff on side 4 which is visible but not audible. It does not affect the play at all. The whole thing plays near flawlessly and just beautifully. Incredible sound, truly. It’s easy to see why it is held in such high esteem for audiophiles. The gatefold cover has slight edgewear here and there, mainly at the top of the spine, but not bad. Slight ringwear noticeable on the back, and very light general shelfwear but really a nicely clean and crisp cover. This is really a top, beautiful copy.
