In the early 1980s former Novak’s Kapelle guitarist Harri Stojka teamed up with friends and family to form the funky Disco / Wave outfit HARRI STOJKA EXPRESS. Recently remixed and popularized by a bunch of UK DJs, “What A Funky Night” became an overnight club hit in 2012 – around 30 years after its initial release. Up for sale is the very first official “Austro Mechana” single pressing from 1983 in nice, clean condition. File next to: Falco, Ffun, Ganymed, Gilla, Magic Mail, Robert Ponger, Smiler and Supermax.

Record has some hairlines that don't affect playing much. Loud pressing. Cover shows signs of storage, mainly ringwear and has a name stamp on front. See images below and have a listen to the sound samples taken from the actual (uncleaned) sales-copy, recorded with a Vestax Handy Trax USB Portable Turntable and compressed to MP3-quality.
