Description
I am auctioning my copy of the incredibly rare and much sought after 7 inch single The Hipster by Harold McNair. It is on RCA Victor RCA 1742 and was released in 1968. The b side is the equally wonderful Indecision. I am rather loathe to sell this record but I know how much some people would like to own it.
Of course, it has recently appeared on Gilles Peterson Impressed 2 compilation of the best British jazz and fusion music from the late 60s and early 70s. This is what Gilles says about it in the sleeve notes.

CONDITION - the record has some surface marks, and when played, there is some crackle right at the beginning of The Hipster. There's more background crackle on Indecision, but the sound is clear and clean throughout both tracks. In short, a record I have played and enjoyed but looked after. It's a small piece of dynamite!!
