Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

GLASS HARP
SYNERGY
USA - DECCA RECORDS - DL 75306
~CLEAN~
.......RARE ....Original 1971 first pressing offered here....
Glass Harp is known as much for its extended live jams and improvisations as for being the vehicle that gave rise to Christian guitarist, singer and icon Phil Keaggy. Keaggy joined the band while still in high school and helped propel it from local to regional status and beyond. At its peak, Glass Harp toured with The Kinks (at Madison Square Garden), Iron Butterfly, Yes, Traffic, Humble Pie, Alice Cooper, Grand Funk Railroad, Ted Nugent and Chicago. They released three collectible albums, all on Decca Records...
SYNERGY still sounds as fresh and exciting as it was in 1971! It is truly amazing what these musicians accomplished writing and playing their own compositions as a guitar based trio that deliver memorable melodies with beautiful guitar textures to all out hard-rock edges with soaring guitar leads....
There were quite a few bands that came out of the late sixties early seventies from Ohio. And Glass Harp was one of the better ones. They were right on par with the James Gang for energy and creativeness. Guitarist & group mastermind Phill Keaggy is a one and only in his field -- cooking with strong drums and bass playing by John Sferra and Danny Pecchio, all tightly polished and free at the same time.

CONDITION: The cover: rated: "EX" (excellent) consider a top copy, terribly wear-prone ...it's a very fragile, thick gatefold cover with soft watercolor matte finish, near all surviving copies are going to show some shelf wear as so easily this cover attracts dirt and soil - yet, here, a nice first press from 45 years ago. Has no seam splits, no bends, no writing - no delete marks ...remains with a fresh appearance, VERY collection worthy rarity ...
The vinyl: Rated: M- TOP COPY ...all Clean and glossy with very enjoyable CLEAN audio ...NO distracting surface problems ... both DECCA labels are clean
