Description

On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Happenings called 'Bye Bye, So Long, Farewell.... See You In September' and is a MEGA rare 1966 UK 1st Pressing!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AND RARELY EVER TURNS UP!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN RARER (IN FACT IT IS THE FIRST ONE I HAVE EVER SEEN) - IS THAT IT IS STEREO!!!!  I HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN THIS LP BEFORE IN STEREO - AND ACTUALLY THOUGHT ALL UK 1ST PRESSINGS WERE IN MONO!!!!  THIS LP IS HARD ENOUGH TO FIND IN MONO - BUT FINDING A STEREO UK 1ST PRESSING IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE (FIRST ONE I HAVE EVER SEEN)!!!!  THIS IS THE 1966 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS FONTANA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS LAMINATED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Fontana UK 1st pressing from 1966 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is STL 5383 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Fontana label (see picture) and is a UK STEREO 1st Pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Happenings at their best!!!! Any fan of The Happenings, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, 2 or 3 MEGA light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!!  There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion!!!!  The record must grade Excellent (Minus) if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Laminated Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through colour), VERY shiny laminate (MEGA rare on this cover), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, a couple of barely noticeable transparent 'grease' spots (NOT brown - totally transparent), NO grubbyness, NO rubbing and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE LP!!!! THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY A 1966 UK STEREO 1ST PRESSING OF "BYE BYE, SO LONG, FAREWELL....
