Capitol Records ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PLEASE READ This was part of a collection of autographed items I received from my grandfather's estate after he passed 18 years ago.
In their younger days my grandfather, grandmother and aunt were celebrity fanatics and acquired several hundred signed items either in person or by request. Some they purchased from other collectors. Aside from that, I have no knowledge of authenticity or origin.
I am at that age where it is time to downsize and sell these items and allow someone else to enjoy them as we did. This is just the beginning and whether I sell the remainder of this collection through this site will be determined by the demand. I have already been offered several very generous 'buy-it-all' offers from several collectors but would like to see what they are worth before I consider any of those offers. No matter what I would say as to the condition, someone out there would claim to know more and complain, so I will not grade them - so please do not ask - If you are expecting like new condition on a 60+ year old record, you should by from a certified dealer who will charge you for that quality grading. I will say that visually I do not see any major scratches or damage to the records. The cardboard sleeves show their age from handing.
