HANK MOBLEY & WYNTON KELLY "SOUL STATION" stereo lp on (Capitol) Blue Note ST-46528 US reissue (1997) NM/EX. I would grade this LP NM, as it looks and plays pretty much as the day it was unsealed, with minimal play and minimal, if any, cosmetic marks. (Please keep in mind that some labels -- Crown, United, even a lot of Atlantic -- were recorded with less than state-of-the-art technology, my point being that some labels sound better than others.) Cream of the crop. THIS IS A VINTAGE COPY (pre-2000). ALL LPS COME TO YOU FRESHLY CLEANED AND PLAY READY. FOR MAXIMUM RESULTS RE-CLEAN EACH SIDE AFTER INITIAL PLAY (SOME OF MY LPS HAVE NOT BEEN PLAYED FOR 40 YRS. OR MORE). (VINYL LPS ARE A CONTACT SPORT. ALL VINYL (EVEN IF JUST UNSEALED) HAS SOME SURFACE NOISE. IF YOU CAN’T ACCEPT THAT YOU SHOULD BE BUYING CDS) COMMENTS: This was orig. engineered by Rudy Van Gelder but this is not his reissue.
The Jacket: In black magic marker, my initials back upper left, an x back lower left. A very functional jacket. I would rate the cover EX overall with light wear of any kind. Very nice!!!!!!! (I only be citing things not visible in pictures)(I do not remove stickers unless they come off easily. I leave that for the buyer).
