Description
Simply the best original Blue Note I've ever had playability wise, plays great and shows completely clean surface save one hairline end of track one, start of track two side one…result a couple of light ticks only…from then on clear sailing despite a light smudgy mark side two end of track 1 into 2 all sounding great thru my Grado cartridge and JBL 4311 speakers. I have cleaned it on a VPI machine and played through completely once; previous owner a major Jazz buff apparently also taped and stored after one or two plays. Labels show a few age spots and the cover has had clear tape applied on the opening side, I have also photographed these other cover concerns on the label spine and edges, along with a general discoloration of the back and addition of two publisher stamps due to the albums original sale in Australia. Etched in the dead wax BN LP 4031 A / 4031 B along with the P ear and RVG stamp. Will be packed outside sleeve in between some very stiff oversize pads and sent out very quickly after payment.
