HANK MOBLEY ROLL CALL BLUE NOTE 84058 - KING RECORD CO. PRESSING - GXK 8097 STEREO JAPAN  FROM 1979 IMPORT LP - EX-NM - VERY RARE! NO Reserve... A hard-to-find 4000 Series reissue title from Blue Note!
GREAT line-up -  Hank Mobley on Tenor with trumpeter Freddie Hubbard, pianist Wynton Kelly, bassist Paul Chambers, and drummer Art Blakey. Recorded on November 13, 1960 at Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.

For a 44 year old album this is in amazing shape. The vinyl looks unplayed and new. Labels are white and clean. Zero spindle wear. If this was played, it was once and handled carefully. See photos. I am happy to provide more. Blue Note Masterpiece Selection 150 Insert is in great shape. Cover I would grade as VG++ to Excellent. All seams intact - so splits. Front of cover look great with no lost color. Back has some very slight browning. Standard shelf wear. No writing. A few of the letters on the spine are faded slightly... again from four+ decades of shelf sitting.
The "Blue Note Masterpiece Selection 150" is the Japanese Jazz reissue series, with catalog #'s from GXK 8001 to GXK 8150, issued from 1977 to 1980 by the King Record Company. This is a follow-up to the 1977 GXF series. 150 titles were chosen from 1500 series, 4000 series, and BN-LA series. All the titles represent which albums / artists were very popular and highly acclaimed in Japan at that time. The Japanese name for the series is ブルーノート名盤150選 - if you want to Google it.
