Description
Very Rare Hank Mobley Quintet (with Farmer, Silver, Watkins, Blakey). Blue Note Records BLP 1550. Original 1957 Mono pressing. 47 West 63rd New York 23 address on both sides of the labels. This is the absolute first pressing of this Jazz masterpiece.

* "For Promotion" is stamped on both sides of the labels and on the back cover.*
Record: VG+ Incredibly rich luster with just one very light surface mark on each side. Doesn't affect play whatsoever. Far from anything that can be felt. All around beautiful shape! See photos. The marks are visible but the music is deep and clear. Play tested, sounds great!
Cover: VG The top seam & spine has some very minor old tape repair, only showing some incredibly minor seam/spine wear underneath. This is barely noticeable. The back cover shows some very minor tearing at one spot and some relatively minor staining & discoloration. Some very minor seam wear along the bottom. Overall, this is in brilliant shape for an original 1957 Blue Note LP!
