CONSERVATIVE VISUAL GRADE:  COVER : 5 (VG)  Moderate age discoloration on back cover, name written faintly upper right back cover, seam damage, taped seam upper middle top, but otherwise strong! / RECORD : - (PLEASE READ)  I refuse to grade this LP visually without giving a grade to audible sound.  I have also added a sound clip of the actual LP without any tampering, filters, etc ..... (Hear/Listen Below).

I am selling this LP as a player, not a keeper (unless you can't afford an impossible VG+ on up keeper).  Visually not appealing but plays like a champ.

The visual appearance that this LP is in would normally not be sold from me in a stand alone auction, unless it reaches these criteria ... first, it must be RARE, I mean worthy of its existence ... and two SOUND better than it looks.  When I purchased this LP I figured it was destined for a future LOT and then I played it and was shocked at the fidelity and clarity it provided (which is why I added a sample of the LP, song starts and ends).  I did a vacuum clean on it and it improved the sound, and cleaned out years of dirt and grind ... but still has surface noise.  I played it on my Audio Technica at 4 grams and only heard two skips, one at the beginning of the LP (track 1) and one time on (track 2) -> with more cleaning it could be corrected.  Visually it is in G (Good Condition), no DEEP GOUGES, but lots of wear and surface marks, but plays VG/VG+, believe it or not!  I can provide more samples if one wishes (and If time provides) as I can record directly into my laptop.  Just trying to be honest here.  Again, jumps or sudden transitions are due to me, not the LP, as I was taking samples for various points and certain start/stops of songs and transitions of one song to another ...... again, what you hear is from the actual LP being auctioned off, without any sound filters ... raw ...

MY GRADING SYSTEM IS :

I work on the 10 point grading system (see below).

There will be a blue number representing shape besides the listing/Year in blue.   (Ex: 1967  7/8)

All gradings are visual and I only play records in special situations ......

10 : MINT (still sealed (LP's only) or unplayed (shown by zero spindle wear).  PERFECT CONDITION!!!)

9 : NEAR MINT/M- (opened LP or slight handling wear.  ALMOST PERFECT BUT NOT...)

8 : EX++ (Slight wear(ring/seam), slight paper scuffs that do not effect play and little to no spindle wear)

7 : VG++  (slight needle wear/slight scuffs/slight scratches/slight cover discoloration and or seam wear).  Small seam splits starting.  Some slight ticks that don't take away from the listening experience.

6 : VG+ (slight needle wear/mild scuffs/ mild scratches/ mild cover discoloration and or seam wear).

Plays with slightly noticeable ticks but still enjoyable!!)

5 : VG (Needle wear/scuffs/scratches/cover discoloration and or seam wear).

Plays with noticeable ticks but OK!!)

4 : G (OK LP.  Listed as a play copy until a clean one comes)

3 : FAIR (Seam splits/heavy writing on cover/scratched and scuffed ... BUT STILL PLAYS but sound like bacon sizzling)

2 : POOR -> Really trashed (Only listed if it is super super rare and can fill a void.  $500 record or more.  Could be cracked but plays.)

1 : Hurts to look at (Should be thrown away or given to Goodwill.  "Used for target practice"/Original owner should be ashamed!!).

These records will not be sold.  They will be used for landfill.
