Greetings, Up for sale is an original copy of : Hank Mobley and his All Stars : BLP 1544 : I don't need to explain in detail the rarity and demand for this particular LP. Here is what you should know..

This Plastylite disc is deep groove on both sides with matching NY 23 labels. There are No Registered Logos on either side on Blue Note Logos. Hand scribed RVG with Plastylite Ear marks on both sides. Offset trail off with fine cut lead-in. this is the 1st of the groove guard pressings, not a flat edge. Labels are vibrant with absence of skin oil and h2o stains. a few spindle marks on each side which does not detract from overall beauty of labels.. Grooves never saw a heavy pickup as this record was seldom played and kept in LP jacket. Vinyl from a glance looks VG++ on both sides, But because of a couple of non-audible sleeve scuffs and a some occasional but few pops or clicks, I will be confidently calling this disc a VG+ both sides.

The LP cover looks like a very strong VG+ or better! No Splits. very faint ring wear on front with really no ring on back slick. no stains or writing anywhere whatsoever. the most minor cracking on seams with very little corner wear. No discoloration. Includes company inner sleeve which is very clean.

RECORD GRADING:

NM (Near Mint): Like new, most likely unplayed.

VG++ (Very Good++) A record that has a few visual imperfections. Played only a handful of times or never at all.

VG+ (Very Good+) A few more surface marks than a VG++. but well taken care of and should play with very few audible imperfections.

VG (Very Good) The record will display light surface scuffs and marks. Expect some light surface noise in parts or a few clicks or pops here and there. A VG record will play with very minimal noise and will still be quite enjoyable.

VG- (Very Good-) The record may have some deeper audible scratches. There will be some clicks and pops more consistently than that of a VG record but will play without skipping.

G (Good) The record will have heavy wear and very apparent surface noise.

Records are carefully cleaned and inspected. Visual / Audio graded.
