Description
Buster and Jack -Guitar Blues and other side is by the Tivoli Novelty Orchestra (William (Bill) Simmons of Bill Simmons and his California Cowboys and Charles "Chuck" Darling) - My Rocky Mountain Sweetheart. Montgomery Ward M-4084 78 rpm record. All close-up pictures in listing are of the Guitar Blues side of the record.
According to an online reference that I saw:
"Buster and Jack" was a recording pseudonym of Jack Cawley and his Oklahoma Ridge Runners (Jack Cawley's Oklahoma Ridge Runners)- a Stillwater, Oklahoma string band-couldn't say for sure, though. Cawley supposedly used this pseudonym on "race records" -78's marketed to those interested in certain, typically African American, musical genres such as blues and jazz.
Records are in used, played condition with possible wear, scratches, scuffs, writing or paper loss on label, chips along edges, etc. Records have not been tested for quality of sound. Sold as is.
