Guided By Voices - 'Forever Since Breakfast'  1986 Vinyl EP  VG++ Condition - 1st Album! 

Original Pressing (1986, I Wanna Records)

-You're bidding on my GBV 'Forever Since Breakfast' EP on Vinyl.  I've never seen this original pressing sold on eBay.  I bought this in 1993 when I lived in Dayton Ohio at the local record store where GBV personally sold records when they began playing live at the time.  Needless to say I scooped this up.  I've played this record maybe 3 times if that.  

For all you hardcore GBV fans, again, this is the original pressing.  They did a 'Fading Captain Series' repressing back in 2005 on red vinyl with a colored cover sleeve, but this is the original pressing from 1986 on black vinyl with a black & white sleeve. 

Condition is very very good.  It still has the original shrink wrap and has been stored with care in a smoke free environment.  Will include the 7 day Return Policy to ensure complete satisfaction.

Forever Since Breakfast is the debut Guided by Voices record, released on vinyl in 1986. In contrast to the lo-fi sound they would cultivate in the coming years, this EP was recorded in a professional studio, and features a nearly slick sound that anticipates their late 90's major-label efforts. Robert Pollard, the band's driving force, has since derided the EP's sound as sterile. Like much of their early output, the songs featured bear a prominent college rock influence, particularly from R.E.M.. The title reportedly comes from Charles Manson's response to an interviewer when asked to state his age
