Guided by Voices "Alien Lanes" LP, first pressing, original owner, NM/NM condition. Gatefold sleeve with no barcode.
I got turned on to GbV by Robert from Scat Records. We were online music penpals and he sent me "Vampire on Titus" and a couple earlier albums asking I take them in, saving Vampire for last. Took a couple weeks but once I "got it", I got it. Love them dearly ever since.
Ordered this directly from Matador when it came out in 1995. Treated it with Last Record Preservative, played it and made a cassette copy, then stored it in a record bin, disc outside of cover, in an acid-free archival plastic sleeve in a non-smoking environment. It's been played a total of once and is as close to new/mint/perfect a copy as you'll find.
I've since gotten all their stuff on CD and am downsizing and looking to find good homes for this and other gems. You'll be 110% satisfied and will love this until the day you die (or lose it in a breakup, whatever comes first.)
