Description
The Royals, I Feel So Blue b/w The Shrine of St. Cecilia on Federal 12121. Original release of this stunning two-sider. Vinyl is weak VG, very shiny, looks like it hasn't seen much play. Also looks like it has not been kept in a sleeve, as it has a lot of very light scratches that don't sound, as well as one scratch that can be felt with a fingernail on the latter half of I Feel So Blue, though I don't hear that one on my turntable, either. Blue plays with periodic background ticks and even surface noise in the background throughout. Cecilia has very little of that, but does have ticks in parts, most notably in the first 30 seconds or so and in the last couple seconds of the fade out. Plays very well overall. Both sides have some tiny abrasions in the dead wax near the labels as well as a few near the end of the songs, though they are not obtrusive. Very clean labels with no writing or stickers and virtually no wear. Overall, a very decent copy of a true rarity that usually turn up hammered.
I've uploaded both sides of this 45 complete, so you can hear how it sounds. The songs have not been eq'd or manipulated in any way.
