Description

-glam-ish early outings by Mark Arm, Jeff Ament and Stone Gossard; closer to Mother Love Bone than Mudhoney, nowhere near Pearl Jam -came out of a rock/metal/alternoid job lot (probably from a defunct record store) that contained hundreds of titles in clean shape (more on that when I make it back to Seattle)
-runout on side A is etched SP-11-A; "I TRIED TO LOVE LIFE ..."; L-27102; JG adjacent to Kdisc(stamped)
-runout on side B is etched SP-11-B, "BUT IT WANTED TO BE "JUST FRIENDS" .."; L-27102-X; JG adjacent to Kdisc(stamped)
-first 2000 copies from Sub Pop included the yellow insert
CONSERVATIVE GRADE: nothing is MINT or NM or NM-, no matter what gauge you use, unless it is unopened. Anyone who uses any of those grades to describe a record that isn't securely contained in its original shrink wrap is a friggin' LIAR.
