Description
This is the first group of listings of about 50 Japanese jazz LPs from the late 60s & 70s. Working on the next batch for listing soon. I have listened to the entire record for the play grade. The record was recorded and then I listened to the recording later using headphones (Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise Canceling Over-the-Ear Headphones). Recording made using an old Thorens TD160 Super turntable with an Ortofon OM 20 cartridge. Signal was fed into an Apple computer and recorded using Amadeus Pro software.
The record has been cleaned and although it came with a rice paper inner sleeve, the sleeve has been replaced with a new one as the old one did have some dirt from long term storage without an outer sleeve. The album is also in a new resealable mylar sleeve.
Note that everything was photographed and posted. If you don’t see an Obi or booklet photo, then I don’t have one for the item.
Masaru Imada Trio +2. Green Caterpillar, Three Blind Mice TBM 39. White label promo test pressing. 1975
Grade: Sleeve: Almost NM. One bumped corner. No splits. Some rubwear to top and bottom edges & corners. Very beginning of ringwear on back cover. Slight rubwear bottom front plus a few color flecks missing.
Vinyl: visual NM. A few spindle marks on label. Plays NM. I can hear some very, very soft occasional crackle and/or tics at the beginning of each side when the music is soft. Green Caterpillar was affected for less than a minute. Blue Impulse had this for about 2 min through most of the bass solo but what little noise there was ended as the drums entered. Straight Flash was clean. Spanish Flower was clean with some very, very soft tics as the track ended.

Shipping: Shipping may be calculated from the link below for both domestic and foreign buyers. Note that although I've listed a 15 day handling period most items will ship within a day or two of payment. However, sometimes things cause a delay as this is strictly a one-man operation.
Discounts: I combine orders to save on shipping but you need to wait for me to send you a bill. This applies to domestic & foreign. Another reason to wait for a bill is I give many discounts on shipping that depend upon the final price of the item, what I paid for it, (my mood), etc.
Foreign buyers will get a discount equivalent to what I would give to a US destination. Foreign buyers will be responsible for any customs fees or taxes. Note that there may be customs delays that are outside of my control.
