Description
Remember back in the day when some record stores carried bootleg albums? Generally live, sometimes outtakes, always illegal. THis is one of them. White foldout cover with a psychedelic-glassed Jerry Garcia and small Robert Crumb drawing. No date, no venue, just says recorded LIVE in concert but the Internet tells me is October 4, 1970 at the Winterland Ballroom. Side One is (uncredited on the label China Cat Sunflower), followed by I Know You Rider, Casey Jones and Uncle John's Band. Side Two is Sugar Magnolia and Good Lovin'. And to make it more confusing besides not mentioning China Cat it has the sides printed backwards on the cover. Ahh, bootlegs. Record ring on the somewhat flimsy cover, vinyl is very clean looking but does have some surface snaps and pops but a great "live" sound. Feel free to ask any more questions you may have.
