Description
Here is a beautiful copy of the Grateful Dead's first LP- "Grateful Dead" on Warner Brothers WS 1689 from 1968. The very first pressings of this LP were on a gold Warner Brothers label. This copy is the very second pressing on the mustard color W7 Warner Brothers label.
I play tested much of this LP and while I saw marks on both sides of the record, it plays in Near Mint condition! Apparently those marks are on the surface of the record and not in the grooves. There is silence in the lead-in grooves and in the grooves between cuts. The sound is still loud and clear!!
The cover is still in its original shrink wrap and so the cover is in very nice, Mint condition.
Great sounding LP from 54 years ago!
