Description

This auction is for a rare, very hard to find, MONO white promotional label Grateful Dead first album titled "The Grateful Dead" pressed and released by Warner Bros. Records (W 1689) in the USA in 1969. The record is a VG+ or better (as defined in Goldmine) with near mint white promotional record labels in a near mint high quality lined inner sleeve (the original VG+ Warner Bros. record advertisement inner sleeve is also included). This record has a very early Warner Bros. label design with seperate song publisher company/song timing numerical listings on each of the labels in addition to numerical song title/writer listings (i.e. side 2 lists 3 song titles/writer and seperately lists 3 publishers/song timing). Also, "VITAPHONIC 33 1/3 HIGH FIDELITY" is printed along the bottom of each record label instead of "MONAURAL" which commonly appears on later WB mono labels. The single sleeve record jacket is VG++. The record jacket has no cuts, splits, holes, rings, creases, bends, writing of any kind, water damage of any kind, tape or tape marks, or any damage of any kind. Seller charges usps actual postage amounts + 1 dollar per shipment for packing materials. Personal and cashier's checks, money orders, and Paypal are acceptable forms of payment.
