Here is another nice Blue Note find: a copy of Grant Green's 1964 album "Idle Moments" issued on Blue Note Records. Catalogue number is BLP 4154. Mono pressing. This is not a Liberty Records reissue. Contains the New York USA labels on both sides. Van Gelder and the "Ear" mark appear in the dead wax. Vinyl is VG-/VG with some surface wear, but is fairly minimal. Side two has a few more scuffs but not too bad. Contains a few super light spindle marks, otherwise the label is really very clean. Sounds great ! Mastered under the care of the legendary Rudy Van Gelder. Played back with an Ortofon MC 10 Super cartridge. Cover is G/G- with some significant wear on the front and back. The front contains ring wear though it does not look too bad. There is a split on the top of the cover that extends almost to the centre of the cover. No splits on the bottom. Corner dents are present, but not horrible. The back cover has some ring wear and some spot stains. There is a name written three times on the back. One time in black magic marker, again in green magic marker and one more time in ink. There is a green "BIEM" sticker below the words "high fidelity" in the upper left hand corner. The spine is not in the best of shape. It is kind of hard to read, but the text is there. (see pictures for more accurate description). Item shipped in a cardboard cover with pads for extra protection. Also comes in a brand new outer plastic sleeve with a Discwasher inner sleeve. Record will be separated from the cover to prevent any other splits during the packaging process. Comes from a non-smoking and pet-free environment.
