Hello there, come on in and welcome to the auction!

As you can see from my 100% feedback, I sell with complete honesty and reliability. Above all things I am a record collector and music lover. I only sell records that I would want to receive. I know well the disappointment of receiving an over-graded record that turns up two weeks late. That is not the service you will receive here, so bid with total confidence. I don’t sell a lot of records because I spend a lot of time carefully finding, grading and listing them and do not like to rush this process, as many sellers must do to be able to sell 100 records a week!


I am mostly a collector of old time music, pre-war blues and folk, so buy job-lots that often contain rare records that are not to my taste so to ebay they go!

Here we have Graham Bond’s uber-rare Vertigo release Holy Magick

Released in 1970, this is the very first press with the laminated gatefold sleeve; the original vertigo inner and the iconic swirl labels.

This is the very 1st press with the VO Price Code on the rear!

I have not seen a copy in this nice a condition come up for auction in a very long time!

The sleeve is in great condition, as is the inner but the vinyl is simply pristine!

With the lowest matrix and lowest stampers, we have ourselves a minty gem here!

Sleeve Condition.

The very 1st press unlaminated gatefold outer sleeve is in lovely condition!  There is no writing at all, no major damage at all, and no splitting!  The wide spine is perfectly straight and all text is fully readable with only mild rubbing. There is some mild shelf wear to the corners and occasional edge and a small nick on the rear opening edge! The inside of the gatefold is in superb condition. Overall, a really nice sleeve!

Inner Condition.

The original 1st press swirled poly-lined inner sleeve with the black text is in beautiful condition with only some mild discolouring to mention.  There are no stains, writing or splits at all and it holds the vinyl perfectly as it should!

Label Condition.

The 1st press UK Vertigo labels are in stunning condition.  There are no rips, rubbing, writing or stains to mention.  There is no centre hole damage at all.  Under a strong light, only 1 almost invisible spindle line can be seen! It’s clear to see that this record has been played at most once or twice!

Vinyl Visual Condition.

The record looks great! It has that “just pressed” look with no dulling, scratches or warping of any sort!  It still retains its factory shine and lustre.  To the naked eye it looks as new! Even under a strong halogen, only 1 almost invisible hairline can be seen! Simply Pristine!

Vinyl Audio Condition.

The record sounds as good as it looks!  There are no jumps, skips or nasty distortion at all! I heard not one loud click from start to finish, even at full volume!  It’s a crystal, sharp and bouncy sound throughout!  It’s a truly perfect sound on all frequencies with the dynamics of the band clearly distinguishable by the ear.  You won’t find better!

So there we have it.  A true rare 1st press in unheard of MINT condition housed in a 1st print stunning sleeve and inner.
