Format: Single 12” LP in picture gatefold sleeve (this, the German version, is mostly similar to the UK version, but, unlike the UK version, was released in a gatefold cover); original Vertigo swirl inner sleeve

Outer sleeve – Excellent: no tears, no markings, just regular shelfwear along edges, at corners & folds
Inner sleeve – Very Good+: 60mm tear down one edge, a bit of chipping to inner circle & paper yellowed
Record – Very Good+: a couple of hairline scratches and bit of scuffing to Side A (graded visually only, as I don’t have a turntable here)
Classic fourth album by the founding father of the English rhythm and blues boom Graham Bond, and his first on the Vertigo label. Jack Bruce, John McLaughlin and Ginger Baker first achieved prominence in Bond’s group, the Graham Bond Organisation, and he was an early user of the Hammond organ/Leslie speaker combination and of the Mellotron.
Holy Magick was heavily influenced by Bond’s interest in magick, and in Aleister Crowley. His suspected suicide in 1974, under a train at Finsbury Park station, was probably explained, in part, by his increasing obsession with the occult and his belief that he was Aleister Crowley's son.
Sadly, another rock’n’roll suicide………
