Description
This is the Jazz Composers Orchestra ( JCOA ). Tan label with black text, stereo. Side 1 has 2 tracks. The 1st track is divided into 5 parts; Track 2 into 2 parts. Side 2, Track 1 is in 7 parts; Track 2 in 5 parts. There is no separation between the parts. Moncur is the leader of a distinguished large Band. Included are Pat Patrick, flute; Perry Robinson, clarinet; Carlos Ward, alto sax, flute; Leroy Jenkins, violin; Carla Bley, piano; Cecil McBee, bass; Charlie Haden, bass, and more. Jeanne Lee and Mervine Grady are voices. All details on the back cover. Recorded in NY in 1974 after having been performed "live" the preceding day at New York University's Loeb Student Center. Rare.
Cover: VG+ Soft jacket. Intact and clean with some light creases from handling on the front and back cover.
