Description
For auction is this rare ORIGINAL MONO copy of Grachan Moncur III's Evolution. VAN GELDER stamp and EAR in dead wax. N.Y. address. I have been searching for this record for over a year and have never seen an original mono copy for auction. The record cover looks excellent on front and back as well as the title edge. Very nice. The bottom seam of cover has about a 1-inch seam split and typical wear. The top seam is still bound together but has the beginnings of seam splitting. Overall a very nice looking jacket which will be stored in a sealed plastic sleeve. The record looks and plays VG++++ condition with a few minor markings that do not affect play. Will be shipped in archival quality sleeve, outside of jacket to avoid seam-splitting. Overall a beautiful copy of an extraordinarily rare record.
