These adjectives apply to the Organ music of David Davis in the tenth year of his association with A. A. ALLEN REVIVALS, INCORPORATED. David began playing the piano at the age of five years. Soon afterward his father and mother started finding black and white piano keyboards carefully drawn in odd places, such as window sills, table tops and cardboard boxes. His father’s proudest possession even today is an old cardboard box with a keyboard painted on the top. On the bottom flap is another painted keyboard which David’s small feet used for make- believe base pedals. At age eight he made the transition from the piano to the organ. So great was the blessing of the Lord upon his life that by the age of fourteen he began travelling in the field of evangelism, forsaking father, mother, family and friends at this early age. The World also is seeking talented musicians. Hollywood and Broadway are luscious plums which Satan dangles before the eyes of most musicians. Through these temptations David Davis’ face has remained set like a flint toward his heavenly calling. By the time he was seventeen, his lively, spirited style on the organ brought him to the attention of Evangelist A. A. Allen, and in May 1958, David Davis embarked on an inter- national ministry of music...responding to the call he had re- ceived as a child to play the organ in the World’s largest tent. A. A.
