Description

Oh yes, this is it kids - the title says it all. Been in my collection since I first got it off the rack at the record store I worked at back in '89. I got a few of these at the time & have been slowly selling them off over the years - this one is my VERY last copy. I've included pictures to show the embossing that indicates 1st press, and the shrink wrap seal on the back: side to side sealing means black vinyl (4977 copies), up and down sealing indicates purple vinyl (1015 copies). As you can clearly see, it be up and down. Sweet!

Anyhoo, here's how this auction is going to work: If you are the winning bidder, once you have PAID for the record, you will let me know if you want me to ship it to you as is (ie: seal intact, never opened), or, I can open it before shipping to confirm that it is in fact purple vinyl. Here's the almighty catch: if you have me ship it unopened, then that's it - NO RETURNS. I hate to have to make rules like this - but you know some kid out there is thinking about getting the record, switching it out and then claiming it's not purple. So that's the deal: I open it & send it out, or you open it & keep it NO MATTER WHAT. Seriously though, ALL the copies I've had have been purple. Check my seller feedback, you'll see I'm an upstanding kind of fella.

I pack records so they'll withstand a decent drop-kick - Hey, I'm a collector, too. You will receive it safe & sound, guaranteed. Fact: I ALWAYS wind up paying more for the shipping than I charge, because I want to make sure it arrives safely. If the shipping turns out to be cheaper, I will refund you the difference.

I expect payment in full within 3 days of the auction end. If you can't manage this, contact me and we'll work it out. I know sometimes you have to wait till payday or whatnot - but you have to communicate. Otherwise, unpaid bidder status receive you shall.

International shipping rates - contact me. Please be aware that some countries (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc) are problematic for shipping via the US Postal Service - so for these & some other countries I will ONLY ship via FedEx. It is more expensive, but the packages will arrive safely. If the shipping winds up being less than what I charge, I will refund you the difference. Luckily, I get good FedEx rates through my job. A sample price: A 7" EP boxed well, insured & shipped to Italy: 100.USD. For other countries, USPS will be cheaper.

Thanks fer lookin',
Sam

p.s. I ended all my auctions and started them over because eBay would not let me revise them to accept international bids - please be aware that everything else is the same, and I'm sorry if anyone who had already bid was inconvenienced.
