Description
Two Tones At The Village Corner on Chateau CLP 1012. This is probably the most collectible of all of Gordon Lightfoot's records. It was his first album which he recorded with his his old singing partner, Terry Whelan, back on January 20,1962, prior to Gord ever going solo. I am a "Big Gordon Lightfoot Collector" myself. I have seen him in about 30 concerts over the years dating all the way back to my very first show in May, 1970. This particular copy came from a radio station as you can see by the tape on all of the seams and the writing on the tape. Aside from all of the tape, the cover is in great condition-no real wear marks or scuffing. The vinyl is probably a VG+...plays with some surface noise, and crackles and pops here and there. No skips though. For somebody who has always wanted an original copy of this very rare LP, this is a good opportunity to pick one up without having to pay mega bucks. No Private Bidders Please!!!
