Description
Another one of my own records, this is a concept album by Godley & Creme, Consequences, released on Mercury Records, cat no CONS 017/6641 in 1977, so a UK 1st pressing. It showcased their own invention of the Gizmo, which was central to the conception of the record.
Deadwax runout grooves read as follows.

Please note I always play my records before listing in order to grade them correctly.
The box containing all 3 records is still in good shape, a little fading but that is all & it has done a great job of protecting the contents. The booklet containing the album footnotes, credits & photographs is present & virtually unmarked, just very slight signs of handling on the front, that is it. All the labels are clean, there are some light spindle marks but only on half , the rest are perfect. The inner sleeves are all in great condition, with very little wear & no real handling marks at all. I grade the box, inners & booklet as Ex+
All 3 records have the deep glossy shine of new records, in fact I have played this album only 4 or 5 times in total, so it is virtually new. Apart from 1 or 2 tiny marks, probably from taking the record out of the sleeve, there is nothing nasty to see at all. They all play perfectly all the way through, there are no jumps, skips, pops or clicks, & no crackling at all. All the bits that should be quiet are quiet, even background hiss between tracks is minimal, & mostly non existent. I grade the records as Ex+.
I have always kept my records clean, but before I sell them I always clean them with my VPI RCM & put the record in a new anti-static inner sleeve, & the cover in a new cover also.
I always insure my items for their full value & do not make any money on postage.
Collection from BH22 near Bournemouth is also welcomed.
