GODLEY & CREME – CONSEQUENCES – TRIPLE-LP BOXED SET
EX+/NM- CONDITION - WITH LYRICS INNERS & 20-PAGE BOOKLET
From my own personal collection, up for sale is this UK vinyl triple-LP boxed set of 'Consequences', the debut album by ex-10CC band members Kevin Godley and Lol Creme. It was released in 1977 on the Mercury Records label, with catalogue number CONS 017. Created as a concept album, it incorporates a play, with all characters voiced by comedian Peter Cook, and singing by Sarah Vaughan. The concept of the album was described at the time as "the story of man's last defence against an irate nature". The best-known musical piece to come out of the album is the hit single 'Five o'clock in the morning'.

The box has a textured-effect pattern on the outside (most pronounced on the front), and inside it comes complete with the different-coloured lyrics inner sleeves for each disc, as well as the 20-page booklet that includes artwork and photos of the band in the studio. Moreover, each disc has been kept inside a soft polylined sleeve since purchase. ALBUM CONDITION:
Vinyl: Excellent+: All three discs look unplayed with clean labels and pristine, glossy vinyl. Sound clarity is excellent. Discs 2 and 3 have slight warping but not enough to affect play. Surface noise level is low, but please bear in mind that it is occasionally audible due to some very quiet passages on the album.
Box, inner sleeves and booklet: Mint-: Only very small amount of wear to box, sleeves and booklet just have a few very faint creases.
Unless otherwise stated above, all records I am currently selling are from my own personal collection. They have been looked after over the years, stored vertically and not tightly packed.

GRADING INFORMATION:
All albums are graded visually and audibly unless stated. I try to be as accurate as possible here, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase I do offer a full refund so please contact me before leaving feedback in this instance.
Records are graded according to UK Record Collector Magazine:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. "
