A lovely, still glossy 1st edition Italian press copy of Goblin's debut album, the soundtrack LP 'Profondo Rosso'.
Sleeve is still shiny and fully intact, but does have some minor shelf wear. Vinyl has been barely been played and looks closer to near mint, there are no pops, hisses, interruptions etc

'Profondo Rosso' - translation: 'Deep Red' - was a 1975 Italian giallo thriller directed by legendary filmmaker Dario Argento (Suspiria, Tenebrae).
Starring British actor David Hemmings and Argento's then-wife Daria Nicolodi as an odd-couple team investigating a series of grisly murders in downtown Rome, 'Profondo Rosso' was a stylish and groundbreaking film that proved the making of both Argento and Goblin, and proved one of the biggest Italian box-office successes of the year.
Part detective thriller, part full-blown bloodsoaked horror, the film is made all the more thrilling by the score from Italian soundtrack legends Goblin, who, legend has it, were given just two days to write and compose the score after Argento had dispensed with original composer Giorgio Gaslini.
Featuring the seminal title-track, 'Profondo Rosso', like the film, was a huge hit in the group's homeland, shifting over a million copies and staying on the Italian Charts for over a year.
It would prove the launching point for Goblin's career, and the group would become synonymous with both the horror genre and the works of Argento over the coming years.
Alongside 'Suspiria', this outstandingly creepy prog-rock masterwork remains one of the horror genre's most enduring and popular soundtracks.
