Go Betweens first recording on the 'Able' record label circa 1978.This picture sleeve 45 is very,very hard to find.AB 001 and AB 002 in the runouts - super primitive naive garage sounds. Robert Forster, Grant McLennan,and Tim Mustafa, the original Go-Betweens drummer are shown on the sleeve,but apparently, the drummer on this recording is actually Dennis Cantwell, from the Riptides, who was recruited for the recording session.Record plays and sounds absolutely fantastic - loud,and clear,with just slight surface noise in the lead in grooves,and one or two tiny pops throughout that will probably disappear with more play.I purchased this record new in 1978,and I doubt if it's been played more than a dozen times.There is the very,very slightest opaque or milky appearance on the record surfaces that has absolutely no effect on the reproduction.This may have happened because the 45 didn't come with an inner sleeve,and I thought I was protecting it ( the disc ) by placing it inside a poly inner sleeve.Please see the pictures - the first two of the record are in semi-shade ( outdoor light) and the second two are in full sunlight to show the playing surface as best as I can.If other shots are required,just ask,and I'll do my best.
The cover is in great condition,with a couple of slight creases,and a very light label ring pressure mark front and rear.Labels of the record are pretty well as new with no spindle lines etc.There's some black print shadow near the original price sticker that was there when I bought the record ( see pictures ).Worldwide postage for $7.50 ( ordinary airmail ), local $5.00 ( registered).Registered and insured will be extra,and mandatory for some European buyers to be resolved at my discretion.Please, if this condition doesn't suit,then please don't bid.

Forgot to include the mandatory 'grading' which I'll now enter as EX+ visually,EX++ audio,VG++ cover.There's also a small rough spot on the lower L.H. front corner that should display in the picture as a small discoloration - my apologies for not mentioning earlier.The winning buyer won't be disappointed.
