Description

Glenn Miller “Master Disc” See Details. Condition is Used.

Up for bid is a test pressing by Grannyphone Records dated April 15, 1992 of Glenn Miller’s recording of “Solo Hop.” The actual date of recording is attributed to April 25, 1935. I’m assuming that this is a re-dub of the real Columbia matrix that was re-cut onto a 10” Vinyl disc likely for the purpose of storage and/or re-pressing. I genuinely do not know that much about the disc history itself but it is quite an interesting piece. Further notes include a pen notation saying it is “Master No: 17382-1.” (See photos.) The sleeve is in excellent condition.
