Absolute Northern Soul classic.  Other similar releases exist with a different B side and catalogue number, but this one is the real deal! Comes in the original Tamla company sleeve.

CONDITION (Please See Grading Guide Below)
Viewed under a strong 35w halogen lamp, there is a scattering of faint scuffs and sleeve withdrawal marks on both sides and that are only visible under the lamp.  There is a pressing 'blemish' midway through the A side that cannot be heard.  Otherwise, it has a good gloss. Comfortably a grade of Very Good and would have easily been Excellent if it wasn't for the blemish.   

When played on a Project Debut III turntable the record plays with, at worst, just the faintest crackle.  Again, the 'blemish' on side A does not sound.  No 'clicks', 'pops', sticking or skips.  Plays Very Good +

Both labels just have the faintest spindle trails but a part of the Motown logo on the A side label what looks like it has a 'smudge' or a light 'scuff' - see the photos.

The sleeve has a rip on the back as can be seen in the photos.

GRADING GUIDE - IMPORTANT!

I visually examine all records under a strong 35w halogen lamp, which shows up ALL defects. 

I strictly grade my records according to the Rare Record Price Guide (RRPG), which, to me, means as follows:

MINT- Must be sealed 
NEAR MINT - Totally unmarked, no scratches, not even faint 'hairlines' / sleeve withdrawal marks or any other signs of having been played.
EXCELLENT - No scratches, just signs of having been played, such as the odd faint 'hairline' sleeve withdrawal mark that is barely visible under a strong lamp, or spindle trails on the label.
VERY GOOD - The first mild scratches have begun to appear, but only very, very few.
GOOD - More scratches than Very Good and more severe, but I am confident that the record will play through without skips or sticking and will still provide a good listening experience.
FAIR - The record may not play through properly with a chance of it jumping and / or it will play with significant background noise.
POOR - It definitely won't play without skipping or sticking.

Below Near Mint I will use plus or minus with a grade to highlight fine differences.

COVER GRADES

My cover grades are EXACTLY as stated in Record Collector magazine / RRPG. Therefore, if a cover is defaced, stained or torn it CANNOT grade better than FAIR. Likewise, if any part of the contents are missing it CANNOT grade better than POOR.
