  • excellent (exc) - die Platte macht keinen neuwertigen Eindruck. Das muß aber nicht bedeuten, daß sie akustische Beeinträchtigungen aufweist / the record does not look like new anymore. But that does not mean that it has audiable impairments.
  • very good (vg) - Die Platte ist gespielt und weist Haarkratzer auf, welche eventuell hörbar sind / the record looks like it has been played and has hairline scratches, which may be audible.
  • good (g) - Mit dieser Qualitätsstufe beginnen die schlechten Platten. Sie sind überdurchschnittlich abgespielt. Kratzer und Grundrauschen sind voraussichtlich deutlich hörbar / with this quality level the bad disks begin. They are probably played on average. Scratches and noise are expected to be clearly audible.
