Description

This is one of the rarest doo wop 45's of all time. It is on the desirable Aladdin label from 1958. There is relatively no information regarding this record, whether you're looking online or in a printed guide. In fact, most archives and R&B collectors state that this record was never actually released. This record was pressed 61 years ago, and, as far as I can find, no other copies have been discovered. This is, in all likelihood, a one of a kind opportunity to own the rarest release on Aladdin records , and a 45 that has eluded collectors for six decades.

But enough about the rarity! Below you will find sound files of both sides from the actual record up for sale. I shortened the clips so that the full songs were not revealed. Two great songs! The A side is uptempo and the B side is a ballad. Both are excellent, top notch girl group doo wop songs. The condition is subpar, however, I believe that with a record of this rarity, condition can be somewhat overlooked. It is possible that this is the only copy in existence. The record has scratches and has a crack, but it plays through nicely. The constant 'tick' heard on side 2 is the result of the crack. I would imagine that it could be smoothed out a bit so that it's not audible. In addition, I only gave the record a cursory cleaning, since I didn't want to handle it too much.
