Description
Gerry Mulligan - Relax!
(Fontana FJL 105 UK LP 1964)
This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a front laminated sleeve. It comes with its original company paper inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has textured Fontana labels. It has 1st press -1L-1/ 2L-1 matrix stampers. Released as part of Fontana's "Popular Jazz Series". Both the sleeve & vinyl are manufactured in the UK. A genuine UK 1st pressing!
Also Features Zoot Sims, Don Ferrara, Bob Brookmeyer, Bill Crow, Dave Bailey, John Eardley & Peck Morrison.
Sleeve: There is a very tiny pen mark on the rear, & some light fading too. There is also some minor wear at one corner tip. VG++ condition.
Vinyl: There are two 1 cm hairline marks on the 1st track on Side 2. These cause a very few intermittent light clicks. Otherwise light sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG+ condition. The labels are very nice and clean & show next to no spindle wear. Apart from the aforementioned few light clicks the record plays near excellent to excellent.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
