George Thorogood & Destroyers ORIG OZ LP More george Thorogood EX '80 RCa + Bio
Original OZ LP released in 1980 on RCA Records. Cat: VPL16540. Comes with 9 page Bio leaflet which is in Excellent condition.
George Thorogood was honing his focus and getting The Destroyers concept down pat on this 1980 album. He hadn't yet become so established and comfortable that his rocking blues licks and vocals were more show business than intensity and energy. Thorogood's playing and singing on such tracks as "House of Blue Lights," "Night Time" and "I'm Wanted" were earnest enough to make the treatments convincing, and retain interest. While this wasn't quite as memorable as his earlier dates, George Thorogood still had the hunger that fueled his breakout sessions.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and a few very light scratches that cause a few light crackles and is in VG+ condition. Cover has some ring wear, light marks and a few small surface tears around edges and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
