George Martin Off The Beatle Track
Parlophone released August 1964

Released August 1964 in the UK, and the first LP by Martin under his own name containing instrumental versions of the Beatles hits.
Sleeve: Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve, laminated front cover that maintains its original sheen, light age related handling only, light edge creases only, no rips, splits or tears, fully readable and proud spine. Matt rear, light signs of handling. Given age the flips are neat, graded VG+ with only light age related edge burring and very little seam grime (so often a feature of covers of this era), small “JG” initials on back graded EX-/VG+
Labels: Classic Yellow & Black Parlophone labels, MT Tax code light signs of wear, light spindle marks, no writing solid VG+
Vinyl: Visually the vinyl maintains its original sheen, lovely full gloss. Closer inspection shows small needle tracks only really visible under light, low play copy easily graded EX more EX+
Audio: Solid clean mono sound, very (very) light crackle/static in between a couple of tracks, gone before you notice it, nothing more (played on Project carbon - blue Ortofon) graded EX

I strictly adhere to the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide using one + or - for addition guidance:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
