Probably the rarest George Jones record around,
Grand Ole Opry's New Star George Jones, Starday LP-101
The record is near very good plus save for one scratch near the end of side one. Record is a bit dusty but should clean up nicely. Thick Starday vinyl with yellow label.
The jacket is very good with some general surface wear and moderate edgewear as shown, still a fairly nice clean cover shot of a very young George.

We recently acquired an enormous collection of several thousand record albums and 45's. Most are country but there are a number of significantly RARE items. First records by Buddy Holly, The Crickets, Ritchie Valens, George Jones, Buddy Knox, Bobby Darin and the list goes on and on.
Alas, this huge collection was not always cared for as well as one might hope. We will always try to mention what we need to, but there are examples of light water damage to some jackets and often a previous owners name in black marker on the back. There is often light to moderate edgewear or some seam splitting. Generally the records themselves are very good plus and exceptions will be noted. We've tried to give good photos for your bidding consideration but feel free to ask questions.
We will not be listing everything we obtained so if there is an album by a country artist you are interested in please contact us. The depth in each artist is very nice and covers the gamit.
