On the earliest Apple Records label with the 'Sold in UK..' text: SAPCOR 1


Matrix numbers: SAPCOR  1A-1 & SAPCOR 1B-2

'STAP 1A-1' & 'STAP 1B-2' is crossed out in each respective run-out.

Housed in a fully laminated UK printed cover without insert but with original 'Patent No.' inner-sleeve.


CONDITION

Disc: NEAR MINT

From the archive of a record industry executive, this beautiful disc bears only a single spindle trail around the side 2 centre hole only. It sounds as good as it looks with just a touch of regular low-level vinyl background on the quiter passages. No need to upgrade this one.

  Cover: NEAR MINT

This immaculate cover has been stored all its life inside a plastic sleeve and retains a perfect high-gloss laminate with 'thumbnails' or wrinkles either side. Apart from a tiny bruise to the upper right corner, this really is 'as new'.
