George Harrison - Wonderwall Music
I am pleased to offer for sale this exceptional, archival quality UK stereo 1st pressing of George Harrison's debut film soundtrack, Wonderwall Music.
The album was the first to be released on the new Apple label. The album shows that a change of mind occurred in the method by which albums would be catalogued, with "STAP" crossed out and replaced by "SAPCOR" in the dead-wax of both sides.
The 1G/1G mother and stampers codes are those of the first mother and stampers plates which informs us that this record was one of the first few hundred LPs ever produced by Apple! Consequently the audio reproduction is fantastic! Take a listen yourself below.

The matrix numbers identify this record as a true UK MONO 1st pressing. As is mentioned above, the mother and stamper codes confirm that the vinyl was produced from the first mother and stamper plates.
The fully laminated sleeve is the first variant in which the art to the rear is upside down.
The album is complete with the original patents pending EMI inner sleeve and card photo poster.

Labels: MINT
The labels are bright, clean and without writing. No spindle wear is evident.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
The vinyl retains superb deep-gloss playing surfaces. In bright daylight there are no visible marks to either side. Underneath a halogen desk lamp a few barely visible wispy hairlines can be seen alongside an iridescent rainbow shine.
Sound Quality: MINT

As can be heard in the recordings, the record sounds superb! The lead-ins are quiet. There is no noise between tracks. Just fantastic. As with most collectors I very rarely grade anything MINT but the audio on this record is just awesome!
Sleeve: EXCELLENT +
The sleeve looks fantastic. Both the front and rear are very clean. The laminate retains the original lustre. The cover art is bright and vibrant. The corners show very mild softening. The top, bottom and opening edges along with the spine are without any wear. Truly a final upgrade.
Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT +
The original inner sleeve is in great condition. It is very clean, without any staining and with minimal creasing.The photo insert looks new.
Additional Details:
Before the audio test was performed the vinyl was cleaned first by an Okki Nokki vacuum cleaner (using L'art du Son cleaning solution) and then an Audio Desk ultrasonic cleaner.
After cleaning, the vinyl is housed inside a brand new mobile fidelity anti-static inner sleeve.
The vinyl will be packaged outside of the sleeve, both of which are stored inside an archival quality polypropylene outer sleeve.
The record will be sent via an insured courier in a padded vinyl mailer.
