Description

"This Guitar (Can't Keep from Crying)" is George’s third track on his 1975 studio album Extra Texture. In December 1975, the song was released as the second single from that album in the United States, failing to chart in any singles chart. The single met the same fate in the UK when it was released the following February.

The single actually became the final release by Apple Records until the label was revived in the mid 1990’s for The Beatles BBC sessions album ‘Live at The BBC’ and ‘The Beatles Anthology Project’. The B side "Maya Love" was pulled from Harrison's 1974 album Dark Horse.

Lyrically, the song is a sequel to Harrison's 1968 song "While my guitar gently weeps," released on The Beatles White Album. A second posthumous release of the song, believed to be recorded by Harrison in 1992, was published over the Internet in 2006 as part of the Platinum Weird Project project.

ITEM FOR SALE

Pressed in 75 on Apple R 6012 backed with 'Maya Love' in superb condition graded (ex/ex) comes in die cut Apple lable sleeve (not shown).

SLEEVE/RECORD GRADING

I take great pride in accurately grading records, my feedback is testament to this accuracy, furthermore to give potential buyers a more detailed description of records, I grade both sides of sleeve and both sides of record. This gives a more accurate assessment of the overall condition of item. Sleeve is always graded first, any inserts are graded seperately. 45rpm singles are graded as a & b sides, sleeves are not graded but are deemed to be in a reasonable condition as seen from photograph. All photos are of the actual item you are purchasing.

POSTAGE & PACKAGING

All records will be sent 1st Class Royal Mail unless otherwise requested. LP's sent in purpose made cardboard mailers with two sheets of corrugated cardboard to protect item. To protect sleeve all LP's are removed form sleeve and packaged alongside item, this prevents LP damaging sleeve in transit.

RECENT FEEDBACK

I have recently been given a negative feedback for no apparent reason, this feedback states that I have a 5 day returns policy and my address was not supplied to the customer. Both these statements were untrue, and this incident has been reported to ebay Staff. I have a 7 day returns policy and my address (as always) is supplied on the original invoice sent to the customer. I can assure potential buyers of a first class service as usual, my previous 900+ feedback reports will confirm this.
