George Gershwin's Rhapsody In Blue, from its very inception, has been something of a musical rarity. It is probably the one outstanding example of a work created by a true musical genius that has found extreme favor with both those whose preference is jazz, as well as a listener who leans more readily to music considered to be in the standard classical vein.
To prove the point; When I searched for all the George Gershwin albums on eBay, 3,816 entries came up. This particular album could not be found - it was not on eBay - anywhere.
This album is in remarkable shape. No scratches, blemishes, scuffs, or abrasions can be found anywhere on the record. The cover has always been kept in the original plastic, I've taken pictures both with and without the plastic protection. No rips, tears, separation, or scratches anywhere. Only very light fading and very little, if any, shelf wear. The Duckwall's price tag on the plastic cover is the one thing that truly sets this album apart from any others.
