Vinyl is in NEAR MINT condition, with no scuffs or needle marks.

Cover is in VERY GOOD+ condition, with light ring wear and rubbing on edges and corners.

ABC/Dunhill stock record sleeve with hand-written notes from artist Pedro Bell (aka Sir Lleb of Funkadelia), creator of many Funkadelic, George Clinton, Bootsy Collins album cover art and liner notes. Notes include a version of the “Wet Epic Debauchery” liner notes from Funkadelic’s “Standing On The Verge Of Getting It On” LP liner notes. Also includes a notation about the purchase of the LP at the top of the sleeve. Steve (the friend I purchased the LP from) was at Jerry’s Record Exchange in Denver, Co. in 1981 and Sir Lleb was there promoting and signing items. Steve did not have enough money to purchase the new Funkadelic LP being promoted, so he bought this used LP for $2.00. Sir Lleb made fun of him about it as he quickly banged these notes out. Compare this writing versus other known hand-written Sir Lleb creations (last few pages of the Bootsy comic for example) and there is no doubt that this writing was done by Sir Lleb (Pedro Bell). Besides, who else would add copyright information? This sleeve is a true, one-of-a-kind collectible for anyone interested in the Funkadelic vibe and legacy!
