Originally released in 1972, 'Octopus' was the band's fourth album - Gary Green (guitars, percussion), Kerry Minnear (keyboards, vibraphone, percussion, cello, vocals), Derek Shulman (vocals, alto saxophone), Phil Shulman (saxophones, trumpet, mellophone, vocals), Ray Shulman (bass violin, guitar, percussion, vocals) and John Weathers (drums, percussion, xylophone) - and was mixed at the time by Martin Rushent. The album has now been meticulously and lovingly remixed by Steven Wilson.
Inside the gatefold is a new sketch by acclaimed artist and illustrator Roger Dean, along with all the album's lyrics and liner notes.
