Description
Genesis Trespass on the rare PINK SCROLL CHARISMA label. 1970 original LP Gatefold with inner sleeve and lyric sheet.
This record is being sold from my own personal record collection; I am not a dealer.
REF CAS 1020 with A-2U / B-2U run out markings.
Being a collector myself, I know condition is everything; so what follows is my honest opinion. I am not using the formalised gradings as these are often open to abuse. I am using honest descriptions to support the photographs.
The Vinyl is unmarked and has no evidence of being played (there is also no evidence of spindle-wear in the centre spine). I suspect it has been played, but very limited. I certainly can confirm I have not played it, having owned it for many years. The vinyl would be described as nr Mint.
The ALL IMPORTANT pink scroll label is unmarked and crisp. The A side has a small gold star sticker added (I have never tried to remove it) and pencil marked 8.7.73 (again I have never tried to erase). The labels are in excellent condition with no signs of wear.........this is very unusual !!
The Gatefold is in excellent condition with no creases or tears. The lower-right corner is very slightly worn. All other corners are crisp. The inner gatefold is excellent with only a very slight 'shading' to the outer edges of the white background. The gatefold spine is unmarked with no creases whatsoever.
The lyric sheet has no tears or bites. It has a little creasing and some slight shading to the right-side (ie. where it would sit in the gatefold opening)

The vinyl is kept in a proprietary inner sleeve and the item has been stored in a protective plastic sleeve out of direct sunlight for many years.
All-in-all this is an exceptional example and a reluctant sale.
The item will be carefully packaged, retained in its plastic sleeve together with card stiffeners and card envelope. Tracked, signed-for UK delivery. Alternatively, collection in person is welcome. Overseas bidders please contact me before buying.
